Two 45-year-olds. Same birthday. Very different bodies.

One has the heart, metabolism and recovery of a 35-year-old. The other is silently ageing closer to 55 — and won't know until something goes wrong.

Your chronological age is fixed. Your biological age — how well your organs are actually performing — isn't. The first step to changing it is knowing where you stand today. AgeQ is a simple blood test that tells you exactly that.

What is the AgeQ Test?

AgeQ is a biological age test developed right here in Singapore — in collaboration with the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR).

Here's what makes it different:

  • A simple blood draw — no special equipment, no swabs, no waiting weeks
  • Built on a dataset of over 300,000 people, so the comparison is meaningful
  • Calibrated using Singapore population studies — relevant for Asian patients, not borrowed from a Western database
  • A clear report with a single biological age number

At Central 24-HR Clinic, the entire experience — consultation, blood draw, lab work and doctor's review — is $108 NETT.

What You'll Learn from Your AgeQ Test

Your AgeQ report won't bury you in numbers. It answers the one question that matters most:

How old is my body, really?

Your single AgeQ™ biological age score in years.

Your biological age is compared against the average person of your chronological age and gender — so you can see whether your body is ageing faster or slower than your years.

Is AgeQ Right for You?

AgeQ is for adults 30 and above who want to:

  • Get an indication of whether their body is ageing faster than their birthday says
  • Surface signals worth discussing with their doctor at their next check-in
  • Set a baseline before starting a fitness, diet or longevity programme
  • Track how their numbers move alongside lifestyle changes over time
  • Add another layer of insight to their annual health screening

If you have a family history of heart disease, diabetes or stroke — or if you've simply been feeling "older than you should" lately — AgeQ can help you build a clearer picture of where you stand, alongside your usual health checks.

AgeQ vs a Standard Health Screening

A normal health screening tells you whether each result is inside or outside the "normal" range. AgeQ takes those same numbers and asks a bigger question: how is your body ageing as a whole?

AgeQ is designed to complement — not replace — the cardiovascular, metabolic and other risk assessments your doctor already uses. It gives you and your doctor an extra perspective to discuss alongside your usual results.

Many of our patients pair AgeQ with one of our health screening packages:

  • Basic Health Screening ($58) + AgeQ ($108) — an affordable annual baseline
  • Special Health Screening ($128) + AgeQ ($108) — our most popular combination
  • Comprehensive Health Screening + AgeQ — for a full longevity-grade workup

Health screening prices shown are before GST; AgeQ is $108 NETT.

Speak to our staff and we'll help you pick the right combination.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between biological age and chronological age?

Chronological age is just the number of birthdays you've had. Biological age reflects how well your body is actually working — and they can differ by 10 years or more in either direction. The AgeQ test gives you an indication of that gap.

How accurate is the AgeQ test?

AgeQ is one of the few biological age tests built using Asian population data — over 300,000 people, in collaboration with NUS and A*STAR. That makes it more meaningful for patients in Singapore than tests calibrated on Western populations.

Do I need to fast before the AgeQ test?

Yes — please fast for at least 8 hours before your appointment. Plain water is fine. Continue taking any prescribed medications as usual unless your doctor advises otherwise.

How long do AgeQ results take?

Your full AgeQ™ report is typically ready 4–6 working days after your blood draw. We'll contact you to arrange your results-review consultation with our doctor.

Can I actually lower my biological age?

Research suggests it's possible. Sleep, diet, exercise, stress management and treatment of chronic conditions have all been associated with reductions in biological age. The AgeQ test gives you a baseline — so you and your doctor can decide which areas are worth focusing on first.

Is the AgeQ test covered by MediSave, CHAS or insurance?

AgeQ is a $108 NETT self-pay wellness assessment and is not currently claimable under MediSave or CHAS. You're welcome to bundle it with a health screening package for a fuller picture of your health — please check with our staff for details.

Where can I take the AgeQ test in Singapore?

AgeQ is available at all Central 24-HR Clinic locations — Bedok, Choa Chu Kang, Clementi, Hougang, Jurong, Jurong West, Marsiling, Pasir Ris, Pioneer North, Tampines, Woodlands and Yishun. Walk in or book online.
